Engagement: THE SCHUYLER CENTER engages strategic partners, individual community members, and elected officials to advance policies that strengthen New York. The Schuyler Center was founded by Louisa Lee Schuyler who believed that sustainable change and improvements came from engaging and motivating individuals who cared about their neighbors and communities. The Schuyler Center continues that purpose today and educates elected officials, individual community members and collaborative partners to incite a desire to bring change and address societal challenges. We work to ensure all people understand that when any population or community is not able to thrive, it is a failure for all of us.
